Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It sets out how you may use Zonify. The rules, messages and redirects you set affect real people visiting your store, so they must be lawful and fair.
2. What you may use it for
You may use Zonify to:
- keep Visitors from countries you do not sell or ship to away from your storefront;
- limit your storefront to places where you are allowed to sell your products;
- block IP addresses that are abusing your store, for example with repeated fraudulent orders;
- show blocked Visitors a clear message, or send them to a relevant page;
- discourage casual copying of your storefront content; and
- review visits to your storefront to check that your rules work.
3. What you must not do
- Set rules that break the law where you or your Visitors are, including consumer protection, anti-discrimination and geo-blocking laws, such as the European Union’s rules against unjustified geo-blocking.
- Send blocked Visitors to pages that are harmful, deceptive or illegal, including phishing, malware, scams or pages that impersonate another person or business.
- Show messages that are hateful, harassing, threatening or misleading.
- Use the Service with a store that sells goods or services that are illegal where you sell them, or for fraud.
- Use visit records to identify, track or profile individual Visitors, to sell or share their data, or to combine it with other data to find out who they are.
- Try to access another store’s data, or reverse engineer, copy, overload, test the security of or interfere with the Service.
- Resell the Service, or use it to provide blocking services to other businesses, without our written agreement.
4. Complaints from Visitors
If a Visitor complains that they were wrongly blocked or misled, you must respond promptly and review your rules. We may share the details we need with you to resolve the complaint.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches of this policy. If we believe you have broken it, we may warn you, ask you to change a rule, message or redirect, suspend or terminate your access, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Where the risk is serious, we may act without notice.
6. Report misuse
If a store using Zonify sent you to a harmful page or showed you an abusive message, tell us the store’s web address, the date and what you saw, and we will investigate.
